We have some exciting news to share with you!
With a generous gift from the Falmouth Road Race and support from donors like you, FCTV has taken a huge step in how we deliver programming by acquiring a new state-of-the-art playback system.

This makes our coverage more accessible than ever, as our channels are now available via the Apple TV and Roku streaming services, mobile apps on Android or Apple devices, and the FCTV website.
This acquisition means that even those without cable television in Falmouth, including thousands of summer residents, snowbirds, and cable cutters, can access Falmouth’s community media channels and programming, live and on-demand, and in HD.
This is a tremendous leap forward for Falmouth, impacting how our neighbors stay connected and informed.
Falmouth Community Television:
- Delivers critical and timely news to keep our neighbors safe and informed during health, weather, and safety-related incidents.
- Serves as a conduit for municipal government to stay connected with residents and businesses.
- Informs residents of local events and issues, providing opportunities for engagement and dialogue.
- Links our schools with parents, teachers, students, and the community at large.
- Provides nonprofit organizations and community groups with the ability to effectively communicate their services and events.
- Provides an open platform for residents to tell their stories, serving as an archive for future generations.
- Gives a platform to elected officials to engage the community in their work to create informed constituents.
- Provides media and technology training to youth seeking pathways to higher education and to adults as part of our workforce development efforts.

In 2022 to date, FCTV has aired over 1,200 hours of first-run local programming. The vast percentage of our funding comes as a result of cable subscriber revenue. The need for local information and continually updated technology becomes more challenging as cable subscribers move to other platforms, which is why we are asking for your help to offset funding losses by “cable cord-cutters.”
With a donation to FCTV, your dollars remain right here in Falmouth and directly benefit our local residents, businesses, and nonprofit organizations.

We hope you will consider FCTV in your charitable giving this year. This fall, we were recognized in the Best of the Upper Cape Local Choice Awards. With so many worthwhile charities, we are proud to receive Second Place in the new “Best Nonprofit” category.
