Please check back to this page for updates, new opportunities, and news!

Falmouth Community Television (FCTV) is launching the Digital Navigator Program to help residents gain the essential digital skills, tools, and confidence needed to thrive in today’s connected world. With one of the highest median ages in the Commonwealth, Falmouth faces unique challenges: many residents—especially older adults—struggle with access to reliable devices, internet connectivity, and the digital literacy required for healthcare, communication, government services, and workforce participation.
This program provides free, personalized digital support and one-to-one guidance, offered in welcoming, community-based locations throughout Falmouth.
Why Digital Equity Matters in Falmouth
In our town, the digital divide often shows up in everyday barriers:
- Difficulty accessing online healthcare or banking portals
- Trouble applying for jobs, benefits, or town services
- Lack of familiarity with email, video calls, and basic computer skills
- Limited or no access to home computers or reliable internet
- Challenges faced by veterans, multilingual residents, and older adults adapting to new technology
The Digital Equity Initiative will connect residents with local, trained volunteers as Digital Navigators who provide patient, one-on-one support and small-group learning. Our goal is simple:
Help every Falmouth resident feel comfortable and capable in the digital world.
