Artwork by Bonnie Papineau will be displayed at The Gallery at FCTV from November 11th through December 29th, 2024.
Bonnie (Wright) Papineau, returns to The Gallery with more delightful creations. A native of Falmouth, Bonnie developed a passion for art and writing from an early age. Influenced by her parents, she learned to observe and appreciate nature, identifying various species of birds, insects, reptiles, and animals. This upbringing instilled a deep respect for the natural world, inspiring her to capture its beauty through her art.
While Bonnie has been creating traditional watercolor and polymer clay pieces for over 30 years, she recently expanded into digital art, which she has practiced for the past three years. Her primary focus is drawing and painting birds, but she also enjoys crafting whimsical, cozy, and enchanted scenes that tell a story and aim to bring a smile to the viewer. Now adding book illustrating to her roster of talents, Bonnie is finishing up a series of illustrations for a children’s book. Authored by a retired MD, “My Wife is a Hippopotamus” offers an inspirational message about finding beauty in our similarities instead of focusing on our differences.
Bonnie sells her artwork through private channels, social media, and at art and craft fairs around Cape Cod.
