Falmouth, MA — October 26, 2025 — Falmouth Community Television (FCTV) is now accepting submissions for the 2025 Priscilla (“Pucky”) Roslansky Memorial Award, which recognizes outstanding video productions that educate and engage the Falmouth community.
Established by the FCTV Board of Directors in 2012, the annual award honors the legacy of
Dr. Priscilla “Pucky” Roslansky, a longtime FCTV member, producer, and supporter from Woods Hole. Following her retirement as research director at the Associates of Cape Cod, Pucky became a prolific community producer, creating hundreds of videos on topics ranging from environmental and medical issues to local civic life. Her work embodied her belief that
“if the people lead, the leaders will follow.”
Award Details
A $250 award will be presented to one FCTV member producer whose submission best reflects Pucky’s dedication to educating the community, improving public discourse, and strengthening civic connection in Falmouth.
Eligible applicants must:
- Be an active FCTV individual or organizational member in good standing.
- Submit a video program at least 30 minutes that relates specifically to the Falmouth community.
- Provide a 500–750 word essay describing how their production supports the values of the Priscilla Roslansky Fund:
- Educating our community about Falmouth issues
- Improving political discourse
- Building and connecting our community
- Sign an FCTV Cablecast Agreement/Statement of Compliance granting FCTV the right to cablecast, stream, and share the submission on demand and via social media.
