Every fall and spring, Falmouth residents gather to make important decisions that shape the future of our community. Through Town Meeting, citizens vote on issues affecting schools, public safety, infrastructure, conservation, housing, town finances, and countless other matters that impact daily life.

Not everyone, however, is able to attend.

Luckily for them, for decades, Falmouth Community Television (FCTV) has provided uninterrupted, gavel-to-gavel coverage of Town Meeting, making these proceedings available live and on demand for every resident, taxpayer, and stakeholder. FCTV’s production – with help from civically engaged underwriters like yourself – promotes transparency, strengthens civic engagement, and preserves an enduring public record of Falmouth’s legislative process.

Your Support Makes It Happen – More Than Ever

Producing comprehensive Town Meeting coverage requires skilled staff, professional equipment, streaming technology, and extensive preparation before, during, and after each session. Additionally, audiences increasingly rely on streaming to watch Town Meeting live or catch up afterward on their own schedule.

While FCTV’s cable channels were traditionally supported through cable franchise funding, the digital streaming, on-demand access, and online distribution that make this coverage available on virtually any device in the world require additional resources and expenses that are not funded through cable revenues alone.
