The evening began with a lively social hour featuring delicious fare from Eat Your Heart Out Catering and guided tours of FCTV’s recently upgraded facilities, highlighting the latest in media technology advancements.
The meeting of members was prefaced by the annual Awards presentation, hosted by FCTV CEO Debra Rogers. This year’s honorees included:
- Shipwrecked Falmouth, named Business of the Year for its generous support of FCTV’s Falmouth Road Race coverage. Owner Alex Khan accepted the award in person and spoke warmly about the partnership.
- Bruce Soulé, recognized as Volunteer of the Year for his dedicated behind-the-scenes contributions to numerous member productions.
- Julianna Coughlin, awarded Producer of the Year for her engaging and thoughtful program Runnah!—a standout show and podcast produced in Café FCTV streamlined production studio.
In a special moment, Falmouth Select Board member Jack Richardson presented citations from State Representatives David Vieira and Thomas Moakley, along with State Senator Dylan Fernandes, honoring both FCTV and its award recipients for their impact on local media and civic engagement.
Board President Ahmed Mustafa presided over the official business meeting, delivering the Report of the Corporation. During the session, members voted to approve amendments to the organization’s bylaws to streamline the membership process and re-elected Board members Linda Davis and Teri Ferreira-Keyes to new three-year terms.
The evening concluded with the premiere of FCTV: 2024 In Review, a compelling video retrospective highlighting the organization’s accomplishments and community impact. The program is now available for viewing on FCTV’s cable channels, website, YouTube channel, Roku, and Apple TV platforms.
