Road Closures This Week

From the Town of Falmouth, Week of August 21, 2026:

Sewer Project Construction Update 8-21-26

Monday August 24th and Tuesday August 25th, the Brick Kiln Road/Sandwich Road intersection will be closed for sewer force main installation.

Once the work is complete in the Brick Kiln/Sandwich Road intersection, pipe installation will continue west of the intersection, requiring the closure of Brick Kiln Road between Sandwich Road and Gifford Street.

Randolph Street / Spring Bars Road will continue to be closed between Maravista Ave and the southern entrance to the Mall. See detour map below.

Sewer mains will be installed from existing manholes in Maravista Ave Extension to approximately 30 feet down eastern side streets. Maravista Avenue Extension will be closed between Route 28 and Nickerson Street; see detour map below.

All closures/detours will be in place from 7 am – 5 pm weekdays.

3-Week Look Ahead Construction Work Schedule – Great Pond Sewer Project

Week Starting	Work Location / Streets
August 24th	– Monday August 24th and Tuesday August 25th, the Brick Kiln Road/Sandwich Road intersection will be closed. See first detour map link above. – Once the sewer force main installation is completed in the Brick Kiln Rd intersection, Brick Kiln Rd will be closed to through traffic between Sandwich Rd and Gifford St. See second detour map link above.- Sewer installation and sewer lateral installation on Teaticket Path (West of Oak Ridge Rd)- Sewer installation on Randolph St. Randolph will be closed from the southern entrance to the Mall to Maravista Ave; see third detour map link above.- Sewer mains will be installed from existing manholes in Maravista Ave Ext to approximately 30 feet down each of the following streets: Milton St, Mattapan St, Morris St and English St. Maravista Ave Extension will be closed for this work; see third detour map link above.
August 31st	– Sewer installation on Nickerson St- Sewer installation on Randolph St. Randolph will be closed from the southern entrance to the Mall to Maravista Ave; see third detour map link above.- Sewer installation and sewer lateral installation on Perch Pond Circle (Low Pressure)- Sewer lateral installation on Teaticket Path and Keechipam Way- Sewer force main installation on Brick Kiln Rd. Brick Kiln Road will be closed to through traffic between Sandwich Rd and Gifford St. See second detour map link above.
September 7th	– Sewer installation on Nickerson St – Sewer installation on Oak Ridge Rd – Sewer installation on Augusta Parcel (100 Brick Kiln Rd) then onto Teaticket Highway – detour map to be posted in the week of August 31 – Sewer force main installation on Brick Kiln Rd. Brick Kiln Road will be closed to through traffic between Sandwich Rd and Gifford St. See second detour map link above.
